Photography has been part of my life for close to four decades. What began as an early fascination with cameras, lighting, and composition gradually evolved into a long-term professional journeyโone shaped by hands-on experience, steady refinement, and a genuine respect for the craft.
Over the last 20 years, my work has focused primarily on product photography, where precision, consistency, and clarity matter just as much as creativity. Product photography is often quiet workโdone behind the scenesโbut it plays a critical role in how brands present themselves, how customers make decisions, and how products are ultimately understood.
From Experience to Specialisation
Like many photographers, my early work reflected the tools and knowledge available at the time. The results were solid, functional, and fit for purposeโbut photography, like any technical discipline, rewards persistence. Over the years, through continuous learning, better equipment, refined workflows, and a deeper understanding of light and materials, the quality of my work steadily improved.
That progression led me naturally into high-end commercial and product photography, where accuracy, repeatability, and visual clarity are essential. Today, my photography meets professional standards required by large-scale retailers, suppliers, and broadcast shopping networks, where images must perform across multiple platforms and formats.
Trusted by Retailers, Suppliers, and Shopping Networks
Much of my photography is used by major shopping networks and appears across a wide range of supplier and retailer websites. In these environments, images are not simply decorativeโthey are functional assets that support sales, branding, and customer confidence.
Consistency is especially critical at this level. Products must be photographed in a way that allows them to sit seamlessly alongside hundredsโor thousandsโof others, often across different campaigns and seasons. That consistency has been a core focus of my work.
Two Decades at Tower TFC
A significant chapter of my career was spent as Technical Manager at Tower TFC, where I worked for nearly 20 years. During that time, I was responsible not only for technical oversight but also for all photography produced by the company.
Every product image used by Tower TFCโboth internally and by its customersโwas photographed by me. This included catalog imagery, eCommerce assets, and marketing visuals distributed across numerous retail channels. It was a role that demanded reliability, efficiency, and a deep understanding of how photography integrates into broader commercial systems.
Over time, the photographic output evolved significantly. Improvements in lighting control, camera systems, post-production workflows, and quality standards resulted in imagery that was clearer, sharper, and more consistentโreflecting both personal growth and the rising expectations of the market.
Blending Photography with Software Development
As eCommerce evolved, static imagery was no longer always enough. Products increasingly needed to be experienced interactivelyโviewed from every angle, rotated, or explored in three dimensions. This led me to combine my photography background with software development.
Today, I develop WordPress plugins for 360ยฐ product rotation and 3D model viewing, designed specifically for real-world commercial use. These tools allow businesses to present products in a more engaging and informative way, without unnecessary complexity.
All of this software is now available through Plugin Nexus at

The platform brings together my experience in photography, imaging workflows, and technical systemsโoffering solutions that are practical, efficient, and built with end users in mind.
A Practical, Long-Term Approach
Throughout my career, the focus has never been on trends or attention, but on doing the work well and improving it over time. Whether photographing a single product or developing software to support thousands of them, the same principles apply: accuracy, clarity, and reliability.
After nearly 40 years behind the cameraโand two decades specialising in product photographyโI continue to approach each project with the same mindset: learn, refine, and deliver work that quietly does its job to a professional standard.
That philosophy has guided every stage of my journey so far, and it continues to shape where it goes next.
